The mission of Easter Seals Massachusetts is to provide services to ensure that children and adults with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play.
Description:
Easter Seals responds to unmet needs of people with disabilities through rehabilitation services, recreational activities, technological assistance, job training and employment, advocacy and public education programs.
History:
For 57 years, Easter Seals has been helping children and adults with disabilities expand their independence, maintain their dignity and participate actively in family and community life. Whether an individual has been disabled since birth, through an accident or illness, or simply by growing older, Easter Seals provides essential service.
For the past 21 years, the National Health Council has ranked Easter Seals #1 nationally in commitment to direct service.
