Description:
For elders who are frail, being in their own home provides security and a very important sense of independence. Elder Services of Worcester Area, Incorporated's mission is to help elders and their families obtain essential services so that elders can remain at home with dignity and independence for as long as possible. Elder Services of Worcester Area, a private, not-for-profit agency, is one of twenty-seven Aging Services Access Points (ASAP) in Massachusetts and assists elders over the age of sixty from fifteen communities in the Greater Worcester area. Building on more than two decades of experience, our organization is an expert in community based, long term care.

Under the state home care program, we arrange for services that enable elders to live in their own homes instead of a nursing home. Our Case Managers visit elders at home to discuss what types of services or assistance they think they may need. The Case Manager then works with the elder and their families to develop a service plan to meet their needs. (Click here for Basic Information About Us).

In addition to state home care services, we strive to provide elders, their families and caregivers with the information and resources necessary to remain in the community should they choose or need to access services privately.

Our Information and Referral Department, Elder Care Advisor and Caregiver Specialist are available to discuss community resources with elders and their families (click here to link to our Caregiver Information section). For additional information regarding state home care or private pay services, you can speak with one of our Intake/Information and Referral Specialists at 508-756-1545 between the hours of 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. or you can complete an online Inquiry Form. We have multilingual capabilities.
