Dare Family Services works to address the needs of children and adolescents who require a high level of intensive supervision and structure in order to live in the community and as a viable alternative to residential group care.

Description:
Dare Family Services provides specialized foster care, family intervention programs, a pregnant and parenting teen program, an adoption program, as well as nine community homes for developmentally disabled adults.

History:
Dare Family Services is a private non-profit human service agency which began in 1964 to provide residential alternatives for court-involved youth. Today, Dare has six regional offices throughout Massachusetts and one in Connecticut providing specialized foster care through the Mentor program.
