Volunteer Opportunity Details:

This is a newly forming group. Our purpose is to create an ongoing work group focused on recruiting new foster homes for children in central Massachusetts. We will do this by conducting monthly meetings; volunteering for recruitment events (we will create a yearly calendar of recruitment events that we want to work on), and becoming ambassadors to the communities in which you currently live. It is important to understand that as this is a new group, volunteers must be able to manage a small amount of ambiguity as to our direction until a cohesive group is formed.

There is no formal training. However, we seek people with a variety of skill levels. We need people who have experience in marketing and public relations as well as people who enjoy a more hands on activity such as working a table at a fair or similar event, but most of all we desire people who have energy, creativity and a sincere desire to help children find homes. Must have own transportation. Our recruitment activities will take place in all of Worcester county.
