Support former prisoners in their transition!

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on December 21, 2008

Dismas House seeks the support of a core group of volunteers to mentor former prisoners at our "Almost Home" program in West Boylston. The men of Almost Home are former prisoners committed to turning their lives around. With the right support from volunteers, these residents can turn their lives around. Volunteers would support staff efforts, mentor the residents, drive the van to the YMCA, work in the office, help process applicants, help cover the program, tap residents into area resources such as housing and healthcare, and serve as a key link for these guys who are struggling to make a connection to a sense of normalcy with the right support.

Volunteers receive an orientation from trained staff.
