Women Who Care Ministries, Inc.
We are a non-profit community-based organization established to assist those in transition, regardless of race, creed or religion. We particularly assist in the area of homelessness, hunger, substance abuse and domestic violence intervention and prevention
Description:
Our target population are youth at risk, those incarcerated, with substance abuse issues, victims of domestic violence, low-income, and those needing a helping hand, in any way. We provide food, counseling, referrals, life skill workshops, seminars, conferences and other venues to empower the community at large. Our volunteers assist us in conducting fundraisers, such as food drives, toy and toiletry drives for needy families. They also help update our website, do arts and graphics projects for us, sort and distribute food, assist with event planning, and a variety of other exciting worthwhile participation
History:
Founded in 2001 and incorporated in 2004, we are one of the fastest-growing organizations around. We attribute this to the fact that there are many hurting people in the world today, and we have many volunteers who have partnered with us to ensure our goals of helping hurting people are accomplished.
