Our mission is to serve all people of all ages with a focus on those with special needs and disabilities. Our goal is to positively contribute to the mind, body and spirit of the individuals we serve by improving their physical, psychological, recreational, educational and social well being.

Description:
TALMAR is a nonprofit organization established to provide a therapeutic and recreational environment offering horticulture and other complementary modalities to the community.

History:
Since the inception of providing quality programs and services to the community at TALMAR Gardens and Horticultural Center, many wonderful partnerships and collaborations have been created. These include: The Department of Education, Baltimore County Public Schools, Baltimore City Public Schools, MANSEF schools, and local colleges, The Cromwell Valley Park Council, The Oberon Foundation, area service provider agencies, various corporations, professionals and individuals in the community at large.
