Help improve the health & hygiene of young male adolescents. Our House seeks individuals able to spare a small amount of their time to drive our students to and from local medical appointments for physicals, dental exams, etc. in Montgomery County. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals that are retired, working part-time, or students studying the health profession. This experience is your time to build meaningful relationships and help our young men learn the responsibility of proper health care. All that is needed is you, your car, and the willingness to mentor. We ensure volunteers receive advance notice of all medical appointments.
Upon completion of the interview process Our House volunteer/mentors will receive an orientation on our program and the youth we serve. Volunteer mentors must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. All volunteer mentors must be 21 and participate in a state/federal background check paid by Our House prior to working with youth. This opportunity is sponsored by: Our House Residential Job Training Center For Youth
