Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Throughout the year volunteers promote the adoption of shelter animals by staffing booths at community events. Often we take shelter dogs or cats to these events. Volunteers are needed to help staff these events.

Volunteers are required to complete a one hour general orientation session. Volunteers who work with cats are required to complete an additional two hours of training. Volunteers who work with dogs are required to complete an additional four hours of training. In order to work with animals, volunteers ages 13 to 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All volunteers are required to have their own health insurance.
