Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteering at the Cecil County Public Library is a great way to serve your community while meeting interesting people and having fun! We have opportunities at all seven CCPL Branches. Volunteers enhance and enrich the capabilities of our library staff. Working under the supervision of the staff, volunteers provide valuable support and assistance. There are many types of volunteer jobs in the library. Some assist the circulation staff with shelving books and helping with the daily book delivery. Others may assist with shelf and periodical maintenance. Still others help with special projects such as putting together a children’s craft, or mending materials.

Volunteers are an important extension of library services, and all volunteer efforts increase the library staff’s ability to provide the best possible service for patrons of the library. Take the Perryville/Port Deposit Exit and make a left onto Rt.222 east toward Perryville. In 1.9 miles, Rt. 222 intersects with Rt. 40. Make a left onto Rt. 40 and travel east .2 miles getting into the right-hand lane. Yield to the right onto Coudon Blvd. and proceed another .2 miles to library which will be on the right.
