Whitney Senior Center is a community oriented organization providing a variety of social and educational opportunities for citizens, predominately age 55 and better, in the St. Cloud metropolitan area. This mission is accomplished in a non-discriminatory inclusive manner, emphasizing sensitivity and life-long learning for the participants.

Whitney Senior Center (WSC) offers multi-faceted programs within the community, which provides older adults a positive opportunity to participate in social, educational, and recreational activities that help enrich their quality of life.

Whitney Senior Center has been recognized statewide as a model for other programs. We have achieved a model status not only in the programs that we offer, but also in meeting the needs of our clients. This year we re-enforced our focus to integrate diversity not only in our programming but also in the day-today environment. At Whitney Senior Center, we strive to make each class, workshop and program the highest quality.

History:
Whitney Senior Center celebrated its 25th Anniversary in April of 2002. A wide variety of opportunities are provided for persons wishing to advance their knowledge through stimulating and enjoyable learning.
