Central MN Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which God's people can live and grow into all that God intended.

Description:
Central MN Habitat for Humanity builds homes with low income families in Stearns, Benton, Sherburne and Wright Counties. We select families based on income, willingness to partner, and need. We sell homes to qualifying families at no profit with an interest free loan. We rely on cash donations and contributions of building materials and services as well as volunteer labor to keep the cost of each home affordable.

History:
Central MN Habitat for Humanity became an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International in 1989. Since that time we have assisted over 50 low-income families in purchasing affordable homes of their own. We hope to build 10 homes a year by 2010.
