Place of Hope
The Church of the Week sheltering program is a ministry of hospitality. It is our mission to provide a site, volunteers, and a safe, clean, and comfortable place for people to spend the night when St. Cloud area shelters are full.
Description:
Place of Hope Ministries includes:
The Place of Hope Assembly of God Church,
The Christian Living Center (a residential recovery program),
The Expression of Hope Thrift Store located at 404 East St. Germain (320-203-7881).
The Church of the Week where churches provide a place to sleep for people who are homeless when area shelters are full.
History:
The Church of the Week sheltering program began in December 2001.
