Reading prescription labels, helping a child with their homework and filling out job applications... These are just a few of the goals of immigrants, refugees and native-born Minnesotans learning how to read and write.

Join this important work and tutor an adult in basic reading, writing or math skills. Tutors are also needed to help adult learners prepare for their GED. One-to-one, small group and classroom assistant opportunities are available.

No previous tutoring experience is necessary; training is provided.

The time commitment for this opportunity is 2-3 hours per week for a six month minimum. Flexible morning, afternoon and evening opportunities are available.
