Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on October 30, 2009 |
Caregivers can become overwhelmed when caring for a loved one 24/7. They need a break. That's when a volunteer can help out. It might be for an hour or two so the caregiver can leave the house and just get away for a while. Volunteers may visit, read, play checkers or cards, or they may just be there for the elder. Giving the caregiver a break may be just the thing they need to reduce stress and stay healthy. Volunteers must be 18 or older and will complete a training session and back ground check prior to volunteering. This opportunity is sponsored by: Foley Area C.A.R.E. LAH/BNP
We need volunteers who are free at these times
