Volunteer Opportunity Details:

New Beginnings is looking for individuals to join our Board of Directors. We would like individuals with expertise in marketing/advertising, commercial real estate, construction and law. Each board member agrees to serve for a minimum three year term. The member may also agree to serve for a second consecutive three year term. Each member is expected to serve on at least one Board of Directors Committee. (Committees are: Board Development/Executive Committee, Program Committee, Development Committee and Fiscal Committee.) Board members are required to attend at least 75% of Board and Committee meetings. Board Meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month.

We are located just a block off Division on 25th Ave. N. We are across 25th Ave. from Walgreens drug store. We are located directly behind the Caribou Coffee-Papa John's-Fed Ex Kinko's building and parking lot, and right beside St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School, across 1st St. N. from St. Anthony's Church. Our parking is located at the end of St. Elizabeth school's parking lot. You can enter it off of 24th Ave. N. behind the Midas building and Trophy store, or from 1st St. N. right by the school. After parking, cross over to our building and come to the entrance that faces the Caribou-Papa John's-Kinko's. There is an archway and small garden area at this entrance. You have to ring the doorbell as we keep our doors locked for the security of our residents.
