Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The season is from October 2009 to March 2010. The team practices once a week on Monday evenings from 6-7:30pm at Becker Intermediate School. The team plays in a couple tournaments a season (see full tentative schedule at www.rollwithitmn.org). The teams consists of kids ages 6-18 that have a variety of physical disabilities. They are great kids and fun to be around.

We are looking for a coach that brings energy and passion, but NO experience is required. Having a general knowledge about regular basketball would be helpful but not necessary. We prefer an older teenager or adult to take on this role. It would be a beneficial practicum experience for anyone in college and great to add to a resume.
