Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Independent Lifestyles, Inc. is seeking volunteers to participate on their Board of Directors. The Board meets the first Tuesday of every other month at 4:45pm at Independent Lifestyles, Inc. This position is a 3-year term and reports to the Board President. Applicants will be reviewed by the current Board of Directors. The benefits of being a board member are numerous, including the opportunity to network with community business leaders, make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities, and build awareness and dispel stereotypes of people with disabilities.

Desired qualifications preferred but not required include people who have a business background, a disability, believe in independence and have previous board experience.
