Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Could you come once a week to play with and help care for children who live at Anna Marie's shelter? Girls and boys, age birth to 17, find safety, shelter, and caring under our roof. Our Children's Program needs Child Mentors to spend time with the children, letting them know they are worthwhile, helping them to heal, and teaching them how to treat themselves and each other. We have a great playroom and two play yards, games, books, arts and crafts, and so much more! Help us provide care for the children, alongside staff, while their mothers go to court, appointments, work, school, or attend education/support groups.

Live a non-violent lifestyle
Minimum age 18
Experience with children
Be able to commit to six or more hours a month for six months
Attend Agency Orientation
Attend Children's Program Training
Males and females both encouraged to apply
