Two little blonde heads are jumping up and down cheering in their pink bandanas for their mom as she pedals furiously in place! Although they are twins, one little girls stands quite a bit shorter than her sister and tires much more quickly but their passion is obvious and quite catchy! They may not fully understand why their mom is riding a bike that doesn't go anywhere but they do understand that this is fun!! Their mom is racing for something that she is passionate about. Her daughter! The smaller of these beautiful girls has Cerebral Palsy and her mom is racing and raising money for a cause that is close to her family, United Cerebral Palsy. Teams of Ten Race in Place for a great cause! Volunteers are needed to assist teams with monitoring their times and mileage as well as assisting them with preparation for their ride. Please contact us if you are interested in spending a Saturday cheering alongside these excited twins for a great organization.
Volunteers are asked to be at the Whitney Recreation Center by for training on how to use the bikes. Volunteers will be standing for most of the time with short breaks to sit while the riders do their 20 minute ride. Must provide your own lunch. This opportunity is sponsored by: United Cerebral Palsy of Central Minnesota
