Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Are you looking for a short-term volunteer opportunity with no strings attached? Do you enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done and the camaraderie of working with others? Helping people move might just be the opportunity you're looking for. We help low-income people, older adults and people with disabilities move on with their lives by providing the manpower to make it happen. They provide the You-Haul truck and driver. We move them on Saturday mornings or on weekday evenings. It is the perfect opportunity for friends or families with teens to get involved. Each move takes just 2-3 hours. There is no packing involved and you choose the jobs that will work with your schedule.

We ask for three character references on each adult applicant. A background check will be completed on all adults. After filling out an application, we will give you a brief orientation to our program. You should be physically fit and be able to lift and carry boxes and furniture.
