Process applications, interview, and recommend candidates for volunteer placement at one of the Boys & Girls Clubs or KIDSTOP sites. Process applications and maintain files including reports of placement, orientation, training, supervisor feedback, evaluation, hours served, and recognition. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process applications, interview, and complete volunteer paperwork for the 3 Unit sites and the 12 KIDSTOP sites of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota.
- Place volunteer at an open position or make a recommendation to a manager for placement.
- Conduct orientation meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain volunteer files and hours served.
- Facilitate volunteer follow up to assure optimum placement and level of responsibility.
- Coordinate volunteer recognition program.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with volunteer recruitment efforts.
- Participate as a team member to provide a quality Boys & Girls Club experience.
- Provide guidance and role modeling to members and volunteers.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organization and attention to detail.
- Experience with interviewing preferred.
FUNDAMENTAL RELATIONSHIPS Maintains close, daily contact with Club members and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues and explain guidelines/ instructions. Maintains positive relations with the general public and member families at all times. Build close relationships with volunteers and potential volunteers.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

- Experience with interviewing preferred.
