Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Behind every good cook their are helpers ready to do whatever is asked of them. The Salvation Army is in need of Kitchen Helpers for our Community Lunch Program, Monday through Fridays, 11:00am - 1:30pm. You will be doing various duties in the kitchen during our lunch program. You may have to scrape and rinse dishes to prepare to put into an industrial sterilizer. Wash pots and pans by hand. Put clean dishes away. Clean up kitchen area when the meal is over.
Time Commitment: One day a week. Wednesday or Friday

Must be able to lift 20 lbs and be able to work in hot and humid conditions. Must be able to work well as a team member with other kitchen staff. You will be leaning and reaching. You must be 16 years old or older.
