Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Anytime of the year someone finds themselves in need of groceries. Help us to provide this service to those in need. Food Shelf helpers are needed at The Salvation Army Monday - Friday 9am - 11 am and Monday - Thursday 1pm - 4 pm. You will be filling grocery bags with food for clients that come to our agency for food. As donated food comes in, you will also be stocking the shelves and putting away items in our cooler/freezer. We need help on Tuesday mornings 9-11 right now. We also could use people willing to be subs for when others can not make it in. Time commitment would be one day a week.

You must be 16 years old or older. You have to have the desire to help those in need without being judgmental. You need to be friendly and able to work alone or with another person. You need to be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
