Description: Volunteers provide minor home repairs and household maintenance repair services to older adults and people with disabilities.
Responsibilities: If you are handy around your own home and enjoy doing minor repairs and household projects, this job is for you. Our volunteers do small carpentry/plumbing/electrical non-permit work. We do everything from fixing leaky faucets to installations of grab bars and railings. You will need to use your own tools but specialty tools will be provided if needed.
Volunteers should come prepared to use the set of skills they already possess. We ask that you keep a record of your volunteer hours, including travel time to and from work sites.
Job sites: Assignments can be anywhere in the St Cloud Metro area and Rice. Volunteers wishing to restrict their assignments should make arrangements with staff to include that information on their application.
Time requirements: Volunteers will work with the staff to select times/days the volunteer is willing to work.
