Volunteer Opportunity Details:

People who are homeless are served a hot meal each night at 5 pm from October to May at our facility. Then, they are screened and transported to a church to sleep. This is called the "Church of the Week program."

Volunteers are needed for 4 to 5 hours at a time between 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

We are also looking for churches who would be willing to adopt a week to have the people experiencing homelessness sleep at their church for one week.

Summer meals are also served, call for details on summer meals.

Volunteers need to attend a training session at the Place of Hope Chapel. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. Volunteers must be able to treat people with respect.
