Volunteer Opportunity Details:

COMMUNITY NEED SERVED BY THIS PROJECT:

Catholic Charities' SAIL program teaches independent living skills to youth ages 14 to 21. Youth are enrolled in the program for 15 weeks.

VOLUNTEER PROJECT:

Every 15 weeks, SAIL holds an overnight retreat for currently enrolled youth. A volunteer is needed to provide overnight supervision at the next retreat in October.

TIME COMMITMENT:

The volunteer is needed from approximately 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM on the nights of October 20, 21, and 22, 2005. If interested, the volunteer is welcome to stay during daytime hours and observe or participate in activities with the youth.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• The position requires the volunteer to be awake from the hours of 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
