Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteer positions for college students are offered during three terms each year: Fall, Spring, and Summer. Volunteer Terms are approximately 12 weeks long with strict deadlines for completing requirements.

Opportunities:
Volunteers serve in three main ways: Assisting staff in patient care areas; providing information and service to families; and working in clerical or office capacities. We typically have a large number of returning volunteers each term, and they are given first priority for volunteer placements. Most volunteer positions are available Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. There are limited evening and weekend opportunities.

We require a minimum commitment to one Term of volunteering for 50 hours during which you volunteer once a week for a four-hour shift. The days and time you volunteer are scheduled according to the needs of our health system and your availability.
