Agency Details:
UW-Madison Habitat For Humanity
We are a student-run organization whose aim is to eliminate sub-standard housing in Dane County, the United States and ultimately the world.
Description:
Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to making decent shelter a mater of conscience and action. The UW-Madison Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity accomplishes this by engaging ourselves, our campus, our community, and our world in Education, Advocacy, Building, and Fundraising.
History:
As a student chapter, we have been around since 1993 and are currently working on our 9th student-built house in partnership with Dane County Habitat for Humanity and the UW Credit Union. Please visit our website for more information.
