Allied Wellness Center
The Allied Wellness Center is a neighborhood center with the purpose of promoting health and wellness of the mind, body and spirit of people living in the Allied, Belmar, Dunn’s Marsh neighborhoods.
Description:
Through a philosophy of care and respect, we encourage participation and leadership to build a strong community. The Allied Wellness Center offers a wide variety of health related programming, along with medical care and individual visits with a Community Parish Nurse.
History:
The Allied Wellness Center was established in July of 2004 to assist people in the Allied, Belmar and Dunn’s Marsh neighborhoods. It is a place where community members can learn about ways to stay healthy. The Wellness Center connects people with important health resources and programs. Nurishing a sense of community and encouraging everyone to make healthy choices will lead to holistic wellness for all.
