Grace Episcopal Church Food Pantry
"There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread." -Ghandi Food and some personal items -- for 30 years the Grace Pantry has helped the needy in Dane County. Part of a network of pantries in our area, we serve up hope and respect human dignity. Sometimes more than 1,500 people get food every month from Grace; recession has increased demand on all area pantries. Need knows no season. A unique anti-hunger outreach partnership between Grace Church and the Madison community, our volunteer base continues to grow in numbers and diversity, including special-needs workers and a variety of faith communities and secular organizations. We offer an abundance of volunteer opportunities, and there is no greater time to join us than now. On behalf of our clients and volunteers, we thank you for your interest.

History:
"Don't wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person." -Mother Teresa of Calcutta Volunteers make the Grace Pantry work, and have for 30 years. Volunteers -- those with us a brief time or longer -- have served thousands. You too can make a difference in the lives of others, and your own.
