The Deerfield Community Center is committed to providing opportunities for Deerfield residents that will strengthen the quality of the community and the life of the residents. The Deerfield Community Center has been established to promote social, educational, and recreational activities for the benefit and participation of all Deerfield residents.
Description:
Deerfield Community Center offers several different programs including: Senior Meals(Tuesdays and Thursdays), Food Pantry (2nd Saturday and 4th Thursday of each month), After School Drop In (Monday through Friday for 4th to 8th grades), Weekend Drop In for Teens (Friday and Saturday nights 6th to 12th grades), Toddler Play group (birth to school age on Tuesday Mornings), and many sports to participate in.
History:
Deerfield Community Center was originally created as a place to hang out for youth in the community. It has grown into an organization that services residents of all ages every day of the week. DCC is used as a resource by many community members and has turned into a second home for many Deerfield residents.
