WUD Community Service Committee
Our mission is to involve UW Students in helping solve community issues through the planning and running of community service and education events. Community service and education by students, for students.
Description:
We are a student organization that is part of the Wisconsin Union Directorate, which is made up of 11 committee's and one club. The goal of each committee is to cultivate student leaders while providing educational and social programming for all UW-Madison Students.
Our committee focuses on developing committee members into student leaders that are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of non-profits, social work, community organizing, and social justice.
Our programming and events aim to educate students about community issues and populations in madison, and provide students with meaningful direct service opportunities in the Madison Metropolitan area.
