Agency Details:
Dudgeon-Monroe Neighborhood Association
The DMNA mission is to improve the neighborhood through democratic citizen participation and involvement.
Description:
The Parks Committee is trying to restore the Glenwood Children's Park to it's original beauty. Jen's Jensen, the father of native landscape architecture, designed this park about 50 years ago. It was designed to allow children to appreciated the native landscape of Wisconsin in an unstructured setting. It also provided areas for theatre, singing and dancing. Unfortunately, it has been over grown with many invasive plants.
History:
DMNA was organized about 35 years ago. Our current Park's committee has been around for about two years.
