Madison Ballet, Inc.
The mission of Madison Ballet is to promote appreciation and access to ballet by providing training and performing opportunities through professionally produced productions and educational initiatives.
Description:
Madison Ballet is an organization which has a school (The School of Madison Ballet or SMB) providing dance instruction for individuals ages 2 to adult.
Madison Ballet is also a resident of The Overture Center for the Arts. The organization produces large productions such as "The Nutcracker" and "Cinderella," as well as many more, on stage at The Overture.
Madison Ballet is also very proud of its community outreach & education efforts. From providing Movement In Your World workshops in Head Start classrooms, to scholarship programs for SMB, Madison Ballet provides access to dance where access is a challenge.
History:
Madison Ballet was incorporated in 1983. In 2004 the School of Madison Ballet was created to provide top notch dance education to students ages two to adult.
