Our mission, “to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling.”
Description:
This mission is unique in Madison and is fulfilled in two ways:
- The Madison Hostel offers international and domestic travelers an atmosphere dedicated to cross-cultural exchanges and a culturally sensitive, affordable base from which to explore Madison.
- Our programming reaches into economically-diverse communities helping youth and adults recognize and explore their own culture and place and then use that lens to understand other cultures.
Our programming includes: Cultural Kitchen, Community Walls and free Travel Education Workshops.
