English In The Schools
English in the Schools provides adult ESL instruction to the parents of children attending MMSD elementary schools. The overarching goals of EIS courses is to help parents become more connected with their child's school and to become active partners in their child's education.

English in the Schools is a program created by the Literacy Network and Madison Metropolitan School District.
History:
At Literacy Network, our mission is to improve the lives of adults in Dane County through literacy. Founded in 1974 as a non-profit organization, Literacy Network has been a United Way Agency since 1979. Literacy Network is also a member of Wisconsin Literacy.
