The Early Head Start program at Dane County Parent Council has a position available for a mature woman to serve as the volunteer Resident Manager for Hope House. Hope House is a collaborative effort between Dane County Parent Council and Bethel Lutheran Church that provides transitional housing for three Early Head Start mothers and their infants/toddlers. Families stay at Hope House for up to three months and work with EHS staff to locate housing, access education services, obtain child care, find employment, and support child development.

Opportunity for a mature female:
Dane County Parent Council, Inc. has an open position for a volunteer Resident Manager at Hope House. Position responsibilities include:
The Hope House Resident Manager lives at Hope House, serving as a liaison between residents, EHS staff and Bethel members. The volunteer is responsible to be present during the evening and weekends, to support a positive living experience for residents and to carry out minimal assigned duties.

• In exchange for agreeing to the position’s responsibilities the volunteer is provided with a private living area, including private bathroom and off street parking, free of charge.
• Hope House is a pleasant home in the Midvale Heights neighborhood, located on the # 3 bus line.
