Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Give the gift that keeps on giving by volunteering at Wisconsin Public Television’s winter membership drive. This drive will run November 28 –December 9 and December 12-13 in Vilas Hall on the UW-Madison campus.

Several dozen phone bank volunteers are needed to accept contributions from viewers from all over the state. We also have openings for refreshment hosts who serve food to our hard working volunteers. Just a few hours of your time will go a long way towards helping us reach this year’s fundraising goal of $500,000. Just consider some of the benefits of volunteering at WPT:

-A great place to spend your time on a cold winter’s day

Volunteering only requires a 4-hour commitment, and taking pledges over the phone is simple and fun. All you'll need are basic typing skills (any speed!). Your supervisors will explain the rest when you arrive. We'll also provide tasty refreshments to enjoy during your shift.

Friends and family are always welcome and volunteering for membership drives are a great way for high school students to earn service hours for NHS or graduation.

If you have a few hours to spare, we would love to have you!

Individuals ages 16 and older are welcome to volunteer at the phone bank.
