Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers needed to videotape resident in-house TV program every other Thursday morning, or to assist as back-up volunteer, and/or videotape Oakwood East Resident Council meetings during the year, the 1st Monday every 3 months of the year. Volunteers need to have experience and knowledge working with video equipment although training will be provided to learn use of Oakwood video equipment. Day, time and scheduling to be determined with potential volunteers based on schedule for resident TV program and Resident Council meeting along with volunteers' availability.

Volunteer application, interview and orientation required with Oakwood Village Volunteer Services Coordinator for registration and screening purposes for placement. Additional orientation and training provided by Oakwood Village East resident volunteer liaison as needed for new volunteer upon placement. Volunteers need to follow guidelines in using Oakwood video equipment and have good organizational skills when scheduled to record programs, meetings and/or services. Volunteers also need to be courteous, considerate and cooperative when working with Oakwood Village East residents and/or staff while recording programs, meetings and/or services.

Oakwood East is accessible by car only at this time.
