As an adoption counselors, you will meet with people looking to adopt a new furry family member. You will introduce adopters to adoptable pets, answer questions about pet care and adoption procedures, as well as complete all adoption paperwork. Good people skills and the ability to present information in a positive way is necessary. Volunteer needs to be 18 years and older. Schedule is shift based. Should be able to commit to a minimum 48 hours in 1 year. Should posses excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, ability to thoroughly complete required paperwork.

From Hwy 51
From Stoughton or McFarland, head north on Hwy 51
Go right onto Voges Rd - the last right before Hwy 12/18
Go about 1/4 of a mile and the shelter is on the left
From Madison, head south on Hwy 51
Just past the beltline overpass, take a left onto Voges Rd
Go about 1/2 of a mile and the shelter is on the left
