National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive

We need individuals or groups to volunteer at the Westside (Struck St.), Capitol (East Washington), and Madison (Milwaukee St.) postal stations on May 10, 2008 for the National Association of Letter Carriers food drive. Many volunteers will be unloading mail vehicles that are stuffed with food donations. Sign up for one of two shifts: 1:00-4:30pm or 3:30-7:00pm. While other volunteers will help store bins of food in our warehouse for future sorting and distribution to food pantries. This is the single largest food drive in Dane County and the United States!

Requirements: We need energetic folks of all ages who can lift up to 25 lbs. and enjoy fast, fun and hard work.

Youth Opportunity: Yes

Minimum Age: anyone under 18 will need an adult supervisor volunteering with them
