Assisting an older adults with basic home chores helps him/her to remain independent and in their own homes. Volunteers are matched one-on-one with older adults. Matches are made based both on the needs of the older adult and the interests and time constraints of the volunteers. This could be a family project or one for a couple of friends. We schedule a one-half hour orientation before placement.
