United Way of Dane County Volunteer Center is looking for volunteer help to assist with their Resource Library.  The Library serves as a resource for non-profit agencies in Dane County.  Topics included in the library are: Governance, Marketing, Consumer Awareness and Responsiveness, Volunteer Management, Volunteerism, Professional Development, Legal, and Diversity.  Duties would include cataloging books, DVD's, magazines and other publications, revising current library system, and purging of old library documents.  Additionally we are looking to get our library system online and are constantly looking to improve and enhance it.  Preferred availability would be Tuesday afternoons and Friday mornings, but we are flexible to a volunteer's schedule.  This position is expected to last for six months and can possibly continue further.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel) and the Internet is required.  Knowledge of library science required, experience as a librarian preferred.  We are looking for one volunteer to fulfill this position.
