Glenwood Children's Park Work Day June 6, 2009

We will meet at Glenwood Children's Park at 9:00 am and continue to work until noon with a short refreshment break at 10:30.We will plant two five-foot trees--a muscle wood and a witch hazel. We also have a number of woodland plants, columbine, Jack-in-the-pulpit, Jacob's ladder, to plant. There is weeding to do in the rose bed and we may try to define the service berry ring if there is time. There is also debris from a recent rain.

We have no requirements except fairly good health. Volunteers should wear shoes for rough terrain and long pants. Work gloves are desired but we will have some available. We will give any training that is required.

If interested please contact Margaret Nelson, Volunteer Coordinator, mvnelson@wisc.edu, 608-258-9437.
