Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer experience that will help our community and its kids?
Consider volunteering in Madison, Sun Prairie, or Verona schools. There are so many opportunities available. You can:
- help an elementary student learn to read or do math
- be a caring adult in a child's life
- help with homework
- work with a middle schooler on math or reading skills
- and so much more!
You can volunteer for as little as 30 minutes a week and set a schedule that works for you. Hundreds of community volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are making a difference in a child's life and in their own.
Free training for new and returning school volunteers will be provided. Come and learn more about the hundreds of opportunities that exist and how easy it is to get started as a child and youth volunteer.
The training will be held:
Tuesday, September 29
4:30-7:30 p.m.
(registration 4:00-4:30 p.m.)
Memorial High School, 201 S. Gammon Road, Madison
Choose from several workshops on a variety of topics presented for volunteers who work with children and youth. Come for all or part of the training. More details are available at http://www.schoolsofhope.org.
