United Way Of Etowah County

Our mission is to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another in a voluntary, community-wide effort. This shall be done through expanding volunteerism, fundraising programs, as well as planning, supporting, providing and monitoring services sensitive to the current and emerging needs of the people of Etowah County.

Description:
We distribute funds to over 27 partner agencies that deliver health and human services, serve as a community solutions provider, collaborate with and mobilize community partners to make a positive impact in the lives of our citizens, include the 211/First Call for Help program (see individual listing), include the Success By 6 program (see individual listing), facilitate the Etowah County Long-Term Recovery program (a collaborative effort to help those affected by disasters), and include this Volunteer Solutions program.
