Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on July 1, 2009 |
Habitat for Humanity Construction Committee works to make building projects run smoothly. The committee assists in a number of areas such as site preparation, house plans, actual construction, building materials and volunteer recruitment of skilled and unskilled laborers. Lunch is sometimes served on the worksite, so volunteers are needed to prepare and bring lunch. Carpentry skills, plumbing and electrical are most needed. If you have your own tools, you are welcome to bring them. HFH has tools as well that we readily share with the volunteers. Ages 16+ are welcome to inquire (age 16-18 need signed parental permission); all volunteers must sign a waiver releasing Habitat from any liability from injury. This opportunity is sponsored by: Gadsden-Etowah Habitat For Humanity, Inc.
We need volunteers who are free at these times
