The Maine Public Broadcasting Network's mission is to engage the minds and enrich the lives of the people of our state through public television and radio broadcasting, educational outreach and Web-based information and services. MPBN is a non-profit 501(c)3 registered in the State of Maine. It is largely supported by a statewide network of members, businesses, foundations and other private donors.

Description:
MPBN's television stations offer the best of national PBS programs as well as local productions such as Made in Maine, MaineWatch and Quest: Investigating Our World. Likewise, the radio stations of MPBN provide national favorites as well as locally produced news and music programs such as Maine Things Considered, and classical, folk and jazz music.
