March For Meals On Wheels

March is March for Meals on Wheels month! In Maine, Meals on Wheels are delivered to older, homebound adults throughout the state by the Area Agencies on Aging. Meals on Wheels provides more than a hot meal. It is often that safety check on someone, or a friendly hello each day! By providing Meals on Wheels, we also assist in helping older adults remain independent longer. To find out more about Meals on Wheels, contact your local Area Agency on Aging. We'd be glad to assist you in helping with this statewide opportunity!
